📝 Storing and Other Tips

Got leftovers? Just pop them into an airtight container and store them in the fridge—they’ll stay fresh for up to four days. When you're ready to enjoy them again, a quick reheat in the microwave does the trick!

I personally love using rotisserie chicken from the deli for this recipe. It saves time and adds such a rich, savory flavor, plus, it makes an easy dinner even easier (which is always a win!). But if you prefer, chicken thighs work just as well and bring in a little extra juiciness.

Want to amp up the flavor? Feel free to sprinkle in garlic powder, parmesan cheese, green onions, Italian seasoning, salt, or black pepper—whatever suits your taste. And if you’re out of zucchini, no worries! Yellow squash is a great substitute and blends right in.
