Ingredients

  • 1 pound of sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  • Cover a baking pan with parchment paper or oil it using cooking spray. Turn on your oven to 425 F.
  • Take the peel off potatoes and cut into sticks that are ¼-inch large.
  • Place into a cold-water bowl. Submerge for 30 to 60 minutes. Strain, and dry on a clean towel.
  • In a bowl, combine the paprika, cornstarch, pepper, and garlic powder. Put it to the side.
  • Stir the sweet potato sticks with olive oil inside a bowl. Sprinkle in your seasoning mix and toss until coated.
  • On the baking pan, layer the sweet potatoes in a single coating. If not enough, use an extra baking pan.
  • Toast in the oven for 15 minutes. Turn each stick over and cook for another 15 minutes until crunchy.
  • Once done, take the pan out of the oven and season with some herbs and salt.
