🔪 How To Make Marry Me Chicken Recipe?

The star of the show, which is the sauce, is prepared by searing some chopped garlic and shallots, then pouring in some dry white wine to deglaze. For the best part, you then drizzle in some heavy cream, chicken broth, and parmesan, then simmer until creamy and soft. For the final touch to the sauce, mix in your Italian seasoning and sun-dried tomatoes. Finish your meal by adding in your basil and browned chicken, let it cook for a couple more minutes until everything is blended.

🍽 What You Need For Marry Me Chicken Recipe
Chicken breasts without bone and skin are ideal for this meal, then slice them into slim cutlets.
Your pieces are supposed to me thinly coated with some paprika-seasoned-flour.
For the creamy sauce you will need:
- Chopped garlic and shallots
- Dry white (Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon blanc)
- Parmesan
- Minced sun-dried tomatoes
- Chicken stock
- Italian seasoning
- Heavy cream
🥗 What To Serve With Marry Me Chicken Recipe?
If you like your sauce a bit runny like me, mix some cooked pasta into the portion you have remaining in your pan once you take the chicken out. If too thick, add in some pasta water to get the desired consistency. Ideally, I like to side it with a slice of crusty bread too, it tastes amazing once it absorbs the sauce. Try to make a balanced meal by serving a salad with a tangy dressing as well, which goes well with the creamy side of the meal.
💭 Tips For Making Marry Me Chicken Recipe
- Chop your garlic and shallots well because you want your sauce to be smooth, and big bits of onion and garlic won’t help.
- Make sure the pan is still hot before you pour in the white wine, and allow it to reduce in order to let the alcohol evaporate.
- Only add in your pepper and salt after you’ve mixed in the parmesan and the sauce has simmered a bit, because cheese is already salty.
- Once you’ve floured your chicken pieces, before browning them, tap off any extra flour

🧊 How To Store Marry Me Chicken
Your leftovers can be refrigerated in a sealed container for 3 days.
This chicken doesn’t hold up well frozen, because the creamy sauce loses its texture when defrosted. The liquid and the fat tend to separate which runs the consistency.
