🧊 How to Store & Freeze Your Frito Taco Bake

  • Storing: If you’ve got any leftovers, just pop them into an airtight container and stick them in the fridge. They’ll keep for about 4 days, so you’ve got a little time to enjoy them later!
  • Freezing: Want to freeze it? No problem! Wrap your Frito taco bake tightly in plastic wrap, then wrap it again in aluminum foil or just use a freezer-safe container. You can keep it frozen for up to 2 months. For the best results, it’s a good idea to freeze the pie without the Frito topping. Just add fresh Fritos on top after you reheat it for that perfect crunch.
  • ♨️ Reheating: When you’re ready to dig in again, preheat your oven to 350°F. If it’s been in the fridge, it’ll need about 20 minutes to warm through. If it’s frozen, give it a solid 30 minutes. The key is making sure it’s heated all the way through. For the best taste, thaw it in the fridge overnight before reheating. Don’t forget to add those fresh Fritos on top after it’s all warmed up!

  • Transfer your cooked beef in, and layer evenly with around a half cup of sour cream. Now use any toppings you prefer like jalapeños, olives, beans, or peppers.

  • Stick your pie back into the oven until the shell is cooked for around 20 minutes.
  • Take it out of the oven and let it chill before cutting it for about 5 to 10 minutes. Garnish with some avocado, tomatoes, extra Fritos, chopped lettuce, or really anything you like.
