🧊 Can You Freeze and ♨️ Reheat Fried Rice Recipe?
Definitely. I always make extra and store the leftovers in the freezer for those gloomy days.
Although this recipe is quick and easy to make, it’s good to sometimes have it in the freezer, to enjoy on one of those busy days.
Allow it to come to room temperature, transfer it to a freezer back, put a label on it with the date and store in the freezer for 4 months. Once ready, let it defrost in the refrigerator through the night, then place it in a hot greased pan to reheat.
💭 Cooking Tips:
- This recipe is fast, so before starting, make sure your pan or wok is very warm. Fried rice won't come out as good in a cold skillet.
- Fresh vegetables are great as well. Frozen ones are quite convenient, but there’s nothing nicer than fresh vegetables.
- Feel free to use beef, chicken, pork, ham, or shrimp with this rice, either on top or mixed in.
- This recipe uses reduced-sodium soy sauce; however, you can use the regular kind instead.
