Transfer the mixture to an oiled casserole dish and top it with 8 frozen chicken patties. Bake in the oven at 375°F for about 20 minutes until the chicken is nice and crispy.
Remove it from the oven and evenly coat with the remaining sauce before sprinkling the rest of the grated Parmesan and mozzarella on top. Bake for another 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.

Lazy Chicken Parmesan Baked Spaghetti
Ingredients
- 1- pound box of thin spaghetti
- 2 24- ounce jars of pasta sauce or marinara
- 3 cups of grated mozzarella
- ½ cup of shredded parmesan cheese
- 8 frozen chicken patties like Tyson
- Seasoning to your liking
Instructions
- Oil a 9x13 casserole dish and turn on your oven to 375 F.
- Boil and strain the spaghetti following the packaging instructions. Combine with 2 cups of grated mozzarella and ¾ of your pasta sauce. Feel free to add any seasoning you like including Italian seasoning, pepper, salt, or garlic powder.
- Transfer the mix to the greased dish and cover with 8 of the frozen chicken patties. Cook in the oven until the chicken is crispy for around 20 minutes.
- Take the casserole out of the oven and evenly coat with the rest of the sauce. Cover with half a cup of shredded parmesan and a cup of grated mozzarella.
- Toast for another 15 minutes to melt the cheese and add a nice brown to it.
Notes
- To make this recipe pasta-free, you can make a simple chicken parmesan by following the same recipe without the pasta mix. These go really well on sandwiches.
- You can add any spices you like to the sauce depending on the brand. I recommend Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
- You can also replace the cheese that's mixed in with the spaghetti with Velveeta, shredded cheddar or colby jack (or a mixture depending on what you have on hand).
