- 8 ounces of cream cheese
- 1 cup of grated cheddar
- 1 packet of ranch seasoning mix
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- ¼ cup of chicken broth or water
- 6 slices of fried bacon
- 6 hoagie rolls
- Sliced lettuce
- Ranch dressing
Instructions
- In an oiled crockpot, simmer the cream cheese, chicken broth, chicken, packet of ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and grated cheddar for 3 to 4 hours on high or 5 to7 hours on low until the chicken is easily pulled.
- Place the hoagie rolls in the oven for a bit at 450 F to toast, then fill with the chicken, lettuce, crispy bacon, and top with some ranch dressing.
Notes
- You will preferably need a crisp type of lettuce when pairing it with something this creamy, such as cabbage, iceberg or romaine. Also stirring the bacon into the chicken will make it soggy.
